霧の漂う稲荷社の千本鳥居を舞台に、九尾の狐と猫又がそっと鼻先を寄せ合う「鼻合せ」のひとときを描いた、八割堂オリジナルの浮世絵風作品です。

幾重にも連なる朱色の鳥居の中で向かい合うのは、淡い金色の毛並みと九本の尾を持つ九尾の狐、そして二股の尾を持つ猫又。

どこか神秘的で近寄りがたい存在でありながら、互いに警戒することもなく、そっと鼻先を重ねるふたり。その姿から、妖怪同士だけが知る不思議な親愛と、言葉のいらない静かな交流を表現しました。
